Invicta Men's Diver Lupah Collection Chronograph Watch #3211 Review

If you are unfamiliar with the Invicta Lupah watch line then yes find a store and look at them in person. Do not judge but discern and allow the unique design to unfold and capture you. Then and only then can you understand the true artistry of these watches. Including my more normal as some would say looking Lupah Espadon; I now own 12 Lupahs, this one model #3211 being the twelfth. I love them all and they all keep excellent time and have so far given me no problems; just lots of compliments. One note for watch enthusiasts out there; the Lupah divers are being discontinued this year and you know what that means. I heard Eyal Lalo say so on you know where. Now back to this watch. The dynamics of the silver tone face with the chronograph markers is superb and easily read when looking directly at it. The bracelet is awesome looking. The fact that it is all highly polished 316 stainless steel adds to the beauty if this remarkable time piece. Then you add 200 meter water resistance, Swiss movement and you have a watch that is a real winner. The unidirectional black rotating bezel adds to this watches contrast so it is both dressy and casual in appearance; it really breaks up all the polished steel very well. Invicta Women's Baby Lupah Diver Metallic Watch with Interchangeable Band Set #5067 Review

This watch isn't going to be a great office-work watch or ideal for a nice night out.But for any other day it'll match whatever you have in your closet - the interchangeable bands will guarantee that.

The previous reviewer who gave this watch the lowest rating didn't review the manual - the interchangeable bands don't require any tool, just a little bit of fingernail strength, and jimmying it around a little.The first time I switched bands it took under a minute.The leather is quite stiff when you put any of the bands on for the first time so I'd suggest rolling both straps and bending them gently first beforehand to soften them up.Already the two bands I've worn have relaxed and the watch is quite comfortable to wear.

Previous to this, I have only owned skinny-banded tiny-faced dress watches, and I wanted to mix it up for a changeFor sure, the first day of wearing took a little adjustment, because this is not a small or superlight watch.It's quite chunky, with a large face, but I love the unapologetic size of it.I have a 5.5 inch wrist and was worried that this watch wouldn't fit small enough (my biggest gripe with my old watch was that even at the tightest setting, the watch face would always end up on the inside of my wrist, necessitating adjustment every time I glanced to check the time).This watch fits perfectly on the smallest setting, not flush against my skin but tight enough so that it won't flip over with normal movement.

The straps that come with the watch are not entirely as pictured; they are less brassy and bold, and more muted metallics in person.When buying this from Amazon, I didn't think I would ever use the copper tone, but it in person is more of a peachy-pink gold that is just gorgeous and matches about anything.The grey strap is also quite versatile, pale with hints of light violet.And of course, the silver and gold will also help to match whatever other jewelry you choose to wear.

The face is a gleaming white, which when moved in the light catches the mother-of-pearl sheen and hints of color.The numbers are large to match the case size instead of being dwarfed by it.The hands glow in the dark at night - though the numbers don't, it's simple enough to guess what the time is with the hands alone.

I can't recommend this highly enough.I love the look of it, and you can tell that it's a very well made high quality watch that will last for years.At Amazon's low price, I wouldn't hesitate as it's so far below retail (although I suspect retail might be a *tad* inflated...).Regardless, it's a beautiful watch and a versatile accessory.My only gripe is that although it is a "diver's" watch that can withstand 330ft of water depth, the leather straps, I'm guessing, are not waterproof and thus this defeats the purpose of having to see "300 METERS (330 ft)" on the bottom of the face of the watch forever.But that's just a nitpicky thing that bothers me just because I find it slightly contradictory for a waterproof watch to be on leather straps.As someone who is used to wearing their watch into and out of the shower daily for assumed water resistance, this watch may end up not being my "everyday" one because of the inconvenience of having to take it on and off so often for fear of damaging the leather.

Absolutely Gorgeous watch.I bought this watch for my wife for our 17th Anniversary.It is a very classy & highly attractive watch to say the least.I didn't buy it on Amazon but the place I bought it only had the 1 that I bought left for sale.... I didn't have to pay the Amazon price.
Actually almost half that but I can tell you it is well worth twice what I paid for it.I can't find it on the Invicta site so I am assuming it is no longer in production which makes it even more desirable. I give it 5 stars without hesitation !!!

UPDATE: After wearing for a few months I have realized that while this type of clasp is easy to take on and off, it wears out with time and now if I even brush it very slightly against anything it comes open so be very careful and aware that it could open and fall off at any time.
Original feedback:Easy to take off and put on, even with one hand. The band is adjustable by removing the pins and taking a link out, just be sure you do it equally on both sides or it will wear lopsided on your wrist. The watch is beautiful and looks like real gold but the battery went dead two weeks after I got it. The manufactures have a web site for help but I have emailed them many, many times with no answer. Finally a Wal-Mart girl got the new battery in it and it works fine except that you have to change the days by turning it 24 hours at a time by hand when you do not have a 31 day month as it does not turn the date correctly automatically but you can hardly read that feature anyhow it is so small.

My wife loves watches, and my wife loves yellow, so I thought I couldn't miss with this birthday gift.I was right -- sort of.It is indeed a beautiful timepiece, and she loved it.In fact, she loved it so much, that she didn't want to send it back when we realized it wasn't running.She decided to have the battery changed (at our expense, of course) to see if that was the only problem.It worked!Or so we thought.A few days later she began to realize that it was losing time.I don't mean like a second or two each day, but more like several minutes.Within a week it was 15 to 20 minutes off.I know we should have sent it back to Amazon when it was new, and they would probably have made it right, but she didn't want to part with it.I e-mailed both Amazon and Invicta, but got no response from either.We have not tried sending it back to Invicta, but we should if it is still in warranty.If you decide to gamble on this watch and it doesn't run right when you receive it, SEND IT BACK IMMEDIATELY.

I was surprised to say the least at the 3 star review of this watch, when I personally have to say that this is my favorite of all the watches I own. Mine is not black, but royal blue. It is a huge watch, and it is heavy which is a couple of the reasons I like it so much. It's not for wimps. I personally love the magnifying bezel because the face stands out so big and is easy to read. Mine keeps perfect time: In the past 9 months, I have never had to re-set it. I couldn't be happier. I had the advantage of seeing mine before I bought it at Costco. Appartently, the other reviewer bought his sight unseen, which is a tough call for this kind of purchase. I doubt I'll find another watch of this type that I will like as much.

Invicta Men's Lupah Collection Dragon Chronograph Watch #2094 Review

I've had my Invicta for 2 years, and paid for the extended 5 year warranty.It has been a good watch; nice looking and durable.In the last few months however, my screws started falling out one by one and now I only have one out of the four that I need.I tried contacting Invicta, and like others, I tried 4-5 times before getting through.They told me twice that they would ship the screws, but never did.After two months of waiting, I decided to write them a letter only to get a postcard back saying I needed to mail the watch in, at my expense, and pay $20 for them to ship it back.How frustrating??!!I don't need it serviced, I only need 3 little screws that are probably worth $.50 that never should have fallen out in the first place.If you buy an Invicta, pray that you'll never need it serviced!

Invicta Women's Baby Diver Lupah Metallic Watch Set #5068 Review

I received the watch promptly.
The photos of this watch on the websites I have searched always show the MOP face as rather colorful but, as I often discovered when searching the web and reading reviews, the MOP in the watch I received looks white. I can see hints of color if I roll the face in bright light and look for it. Still, it does look very nice, I just was expecting color when glancing at the face.
I have only worn it a day but I am delighted. I found, in keeping with reviews on other sites I had read, that the bands are very very stiff when new so I rolled them up and straightened them out a few times before putting the watch on. The quick release feature of the bands did allow me to change the bands quickly without a special tool. The leather of the band was still stiff but has softened a little already with a few hours of wearing. I have a large wrist and the bands fit. The band adjustment includes 8 punched holes to choose from so it could fit a small to average wrist too.
The color of the bands that I received is rather accurate except that the colors are softer in real life. This is especially true for the `copper' band. In the Amazon photo the color is an intense burnished orange or copper. In real life, the color is much softer, no where near as intense, and has a bit more pink in it. I was surprised that I liked this color best - it is not far off from a skin tone (except that it has a metallic shine to it.) The other watch band colors are softer than shown in the photo - but the difference is not as significant.
The hour and minute hands of the watch glow in the dark and are easily visible due to the amount of luminous material coating them.
In my online searches, this watch is sometimes classified in the WildFlowers collection (true of Amazon) and also classified as the Lupah collection (also true of Amazon).
I am very pleased with it. My impression, handling the watch, is that is made of good materials and worth the cost. But, only time will tell.....(sorry! I just couldn't resist!)

It's attractive, the right price, came in a nice package, appears well made, but it is HUGE. I am a man with medium-sized athletic frame and thiswatch looked silly on my wrist - silly in a funhouse sort of way. I have to say, I am not that familiar with INVICTA, although I have heard and seen INVICTA watches I really dont know anyone that has one. I have seen them in high end watch shops and retailers, but I honestly didnt know that much to make an informed decision. I did research on the company and the quality before I bought this watch. I was impressed. I saw the MSRP for this watch and found out it actually has sold for that at some retailers. When I saw Amazons price I thought this has to be something wrong.... I bought the watch. WOW, what a great deal. Its a very very well made watch, classy, absolute perfection. Its as nice as my Tag, Movado, or my old Hamiltons. I get compliments on it constantly and I have to say the space age material its nade of is great... It feels and looks indestructable, but is light weight. Its comfortable and I just love it. I was suprised at the fantastic quality. The watch is worth the retail price, I got it for a steal on amazon. It is absolutely my favorite watch, I dont have another like it... its so unique.. I took it to a high end retailer of watches in downtown san francisco to get it sized and they said the watch was definately worth three to five times what I paid. I do not know if all INVICTA watches are as superior as this but, I am very picky about my watches and this watch is amazing Great deal and superior quality. You can also register the watch with the manufacturer and get an additional 5 year warranty!!!!

Invicta Men's Dragon Lupah Collection Chronograph Watch #2095 Review

I've just bought my blue dragon luaph and I must say I'm very satisfied. The watch looks great, it is comfortable, very precise and the watch looks plain wonderful! Everything about this watch is special, including the box which houses the watch in a nearly bullet-proof environment and looks very nice! Those who fear the blue leather strap may be a color that won't match with everything may not be so right... So far, I've used it with most of my clothes and it doesn't look bad at all, even thus it is a little bit flashy sometimes (but so is the watch, so if were going to buy a very casual watch, you've looked elsewhere aready). My first criticism would relate to the size of the watch, which is quite imposing and cumbersome at first. You should really draw a vague drawing of the watch with the dimensions before biuying, because it is quite big and quite high (watch is around an inch high, around 1.5 inch large and a little bit more than two inches long). I use to wear a Timex Expedition, so I wasn't really used to luxury watches but I was impressed by the size of the watch at first, when I put it on my wrist. Still, I'm very pleased of the look of the watch. It is precise, very detailed and the chronogrpah is impressive! My last criticism would relate to the instruction manual : it seems Invicta has only one manual for all its models and since the watch has some features that are sometimes difficult to understand (the chronograph function actually), more details about the model could have been appreciated for mechanically challenged people like me! Setting the time was also a challenge because you had to pull the pin two notches back, but it wouldn't go further than the first one and I didn't want to pull to hard on it, but after a minute I managed to reach that second notch. Those three little difficulties make me rate this watch 4.5 stars, but since I can't give 1/2 stars I would say it is worth 4 stars (I haven't seen perfection yet, so I don't give out 5 stars !)

26mm Thick MODENA Italian Rubber watch strap for Panerai, Grand Lupah, etc. Review

Before you purchase a new watch band, you will need to know what size watch band you need.

To find out what size what band you need, just measure your current watch band / strap at the end that meets the watch.

Most men's watch bands range from 18mm - 22mm (larger men's watches are also now using 24mm or 26mm) and come in metal, leather, rubber, silicone, lizard, ostrich, alligator, suede, shark, stingray, and many other materials.

Most women' watch bands range from 14mm - 18mm (larger women's watches are now using up to 24mm bands) and come in metal, leather, rubber, silicone, lizard, ostrich, alligator, suede, shark, stingray, and many other materials.

Most watch bands are "straight" at the end.

If your watch band is "straight" at the end (no cutouts, etc.), then you will be able to easily find watch bands on ebay by simply typing in the size watch band you need (example - "18mm watch band" if your watch uses 18mm watch bands, etc).

If your watch is not "straight" at the end, then you'll need to search using the name/make/model of your watch to find the correct band (example - "....(brand).....(model)....(size)..., watch band").

If you have any questions re: what watch band you need, just email the seller of the watch band BEFORE bidding w/ any questions and most sellers are more then happy to help you purchase the right size/band.

You might also want to pick up a spring bar tool on ebay when purchasing your new watch band / strap.

These inexpensive tools will help you easily switch out your band.

Once you have your band and are ready to switch out your band, simply follow these easy directions:

All you have to do is get a spring bar tool (or a very small flat head screwdriver or a knife - be careful, please) and push the pins in that hold the band/buckle onto the watch. Just insert spring bar tool/screwdriver/knife between side of band and case/buckle and push in and down.

The band should "pop off" the watch and then just switch out the pins into the new band/buckle (and then place the band/buckle on your watch) and you'll be able to change your band/buckle easily and quickly.

These directions will work for 95% of all watches.

If you have a watch that uses screws or screw pins to hold your watch band on (usually more expensive watches), you will need a small screwdriver and will "unscrew" the pin instead of "popping" it off.

If you do have a watch w/ screw pins, I would suggest that you check w/ a jewler before switching out your band (just to be safe).

This is one of the best Lupahs made. First it is all Swiss Made and the fit and finish is excellent. It has a screw down crown, a first for any Lupah. The technofiber band is so comfortable and the watch wraps around the wrist. I like the extra touch Invicta did with the dual deployant clasp, nice touch. The watch is worth much more than it is selling for. The Lupah Zen is the best Lupah made so far. Very high end look and finish.

I don't understand why this is listed as a Men's watch on this site, when Invicta lists it as a Women's.No matter-I finally found this watch after looking long and hard for it.I saw it on TV, tried to order it online from another site, but wasn't quick enough.I have a small wrist, not quite 6 inches, and was concerned that it might overpower it, but 4 links were taken out, and voila!Perfect fit.I own several other Invicta watches, but this one has quickly become one of my favorites-easy to read, and OMG!I love the weight!My only regret is that it doesn't come in blue, as I'm not really a yellow, black, orange or red person.Maybe Invicta will come through for me!
